But from the start, everything goes wrong. But reading everything Wendy Mass has written will be a challenge, even though I don’t really want to read the Space Taxi series. It's Amanda's 11th birthday and she is super excited-after all, 11 is so different from 10. When I like an author, I want to keep reading books she or he has written, and it really makes me sad when I finish a series. You have probably figured out by now that I LOVE a book series. Wendy Mass doesn’t do that in “11 Birthdays”, so it was more fun to read.

It made the book very long and sometimes boring. In “The Candymakers,” I got tired of reading about things that happened from four different people. I liked reading “The Candymakers,” but I think “11 Birthdays” is a much better book. “11 Birthdays” is the first book in the Willow Falls series. I was so happy to find out that she had written 19 books for kids! She has written the Space Taxi series, the Twice Upon a Time series, the Willow Falls series, and seven other books. I wanted to read more books by Wendy Mass after I read “The Candymakers” in fourth grade, as one of the Sunshine State Books. This book is great for people who like reading about best friends, mysteries, and birthdays will love this book. This is a book great for eight year olds and up. I always enjoyed looking at photos from when I was younger. I love it because of how it flashes back with each birthday, telling a little bit about it. My favorite scene is where Amanda is looking at a photo book with a picture of her and Leo for each birthday.

He and Amanda also have some good times together. My favorite character is Leo because he is fun and kind! He decorates Amanda’s locker on her birthday. March 1st was my birthday and I turned 11! So I wanted to celebrate by doing a review of one of my favorite books, “11 Birthdays” by Wendy Mass.Īmanda and Leo have been best friends ever since they were born, literally! They always had their birthday parties together, until Leo crushes Amanda’s heart at their 10th party.
